The Kings are waiting patiently on star forward Ron Artest and his agent, Mark Stevens, to decide whether Artest will accept the final year worth $8.45 million of his contract or opt for free agency. If Artest chooses to opt out, experts project that he could get a 2 year deal in the range of $6 million. He has till June 30th to decide.
