Lifting Presidential Drilling Moratorium A Good Idea?
The White House announced this Monday that President Bush plans to remove the presidential moratorium on oil and gas drilling on the Outer Continental shelf. The move is mostly symbolic, meant to urge congress to approve an exploratory search along American coastlines, and commentators think it is unlikely to accomplish much. Regardless, was it a wise choice?
