$4 gasoline has arrived
The cost of gas has reached a new high, climbing to a national average of $3.51 per gallon — almost 66 cents higher than the price a year ago. The sharp rise has been driven partly by the increase in the cost of oil, now near $120 a barrel, and the declining value of the dollar.
