Time To Bid Farewell To Alltel?
Verizon Wireless is spending more than it's minutes in purchasing rival wireless company Alltel. In the $5.9 billion dollar buy, Verizon expects to see immediate profit increase from the 13.2 million subscribers they will land. Once the merge is complete, (sometime by the end of this year) Verizon Wireless will tower as the largest cellular company in the United States.
