Are Hybrids Really Better For Your Green?
The rising price of gas and a weakened economy has driven the price of hybrids up. The average hybrid now cost about $2,500 more than it's gas counterpart. Based on MPG averages, it could take up to 4 years before the cost of a hybrid was recouped. So, if you're only concerned about the dollars, rather than your carbon footprint, you better drive that hybrid for at least 5 years.
